It’s time to give your medicine cabinet a little fall cleaning! This is a great opportunity to safely get rid of unwanted or expired medications while helping keep our community and environment safe.
💊 Bring These Items:
Prescription medications — controlled and non-controlled
Over-the-counter medications
Ointments
Inhalers
Patches
Non-aerosol sprays
Creams
Vape cartridges and devices with batteries removed
Vials
Pet medications

🚫 Please Do NOT Bring:
Illegal drugs
Needles or sharps
Mercury thermometers
Aerosol cans
Biohazardous materials — anything containing bodily fluid or blood
Flares
Personal care products, including shampoo, soaps, lotions, sunscreens, etc.
Household hazardous waste, including paint, pesticides, chemicals, oil, or gas
Acids
Any vape devices containing batteries of any kind

Wisconsin showed just how committed our communities are to keeping unwanted medications out of the wrong hands. During the Spring Drug Take Back, Wisconsin led the nation this spring, collecting an impressive 57,054 pounds of unwanted medications! Let’s keep that momentum going this fall and see what we can accomplish together. 🍁 Clean out. Drop off. Make a difference! 🍁
